William E. Lesson

William Lesson, 92, of Duanesburg, passed away peacefully at Albany Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family on February 11, 2016 following a short illness.

Born in Schaghticoke, Bill was the son of the late William E. and Marie (Paquette) Lesson.

Bill honorably served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.

Bill is predeceased by his son, Paul Lesson and daughter, Victoria Lesson.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of almost 70 years, Ruth (Fairman) Lesson, his children, William E. Lesson of Scotia, Diane Hargrave of Voorheesville and Carol Liszewski of Duanesburg.  He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, as well as his nephew, Earl Lesson.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 14 at White-Van Buren Funeral Home, 1779 Main Street, Delanson, NY 12053 from 3-5pm with a prayer service to follow at 5pm.
