Stacey L. Allen

Charleston, NY – Stacey L. Allen, 66, of Charleston, NY passed away unexpectedly on July 8, 2023. Formerly of Olmstedville, NY he is the son of the late Keith and Grace (Wescott) Allen.

Stacey possessed many skills buts was a metal worker and autobody mechanic by trade. He was an avid outdoorsman with a great love and respect for nature and the land which he instilled in his children. Whether it be hiking, fishing, hunting or just working in the garden or mowing; outside is where he’d be. Stacey had many talents from woodworking, canning and baking to the making of syrup, salsa or ‘shine’.

He leaves to carry on his love, lessons learned and traditions made, his wife of 44 years, Holly Dotterer; daughters, Shiloh, Marcy and Savannah Allen; grandchildren, Briana Boniecki, Damien Powers, Cassidy Miakisz, Riley Marsh and Adalynn Goblet. He will be also greatly missed by his siblings, Sharon Simmes, Sherry Davison, Sterling and Shawn Allen as well as several nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 5 at 1pm at White-VanBuren Funeral Home, 1669 Main St., Delanson. Please wear green and blue.
