Shirley G. Mc Laughlin, of Delanson passed away on April 7, 2014 at the Baptist Health Center. Born on April 17 1925 in Richmond Mass to Henry and Edith MacDonald Glaeser.
Mickey as she was known to many married her beloved husband Donald McLaughlin in 1948. He predeceased her 2000.
Mickey was employed as a Registered Nurse for Ellis Hospital, and Schoharie County Public Health Nurse various local doctors and for hospice.
Mickey is survived by her children Mary ‘B” McLaughlin Delanson, Judith McLaughlin (Dan Godfry) Delanson, James McLaughlin (Margaret) Norwich NY, Stephen McLaughlin Barrington NJ, Kathleen McLaughlin (Mike) Shannon Old Orchard Beach Me, Jon Patrick McLaughlin (Karsten) Queenstown Md and Kevin McLaughlin Delanson.
12 Grandchildren and 3 Great grandchildren siblings Elizabeth Connor, Virginia Skiff, and Edith Bailes.
Services will be held Saturday April 12 2014 at the White VanBuren Funeral Home 1779 Main Street Delanson from 12 pm to 2pm. A Memorial service will begin at 2pm. . . .
Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church Po Box 219 Delanson NY 12053 and to the Community Hospice of Schenectady 1411 Union Schenectady Ny 12308.
