Delanson- Sandra “Sandy” M. Flower, 60 ,passed away peacefully at home on February 5, 2016.
She was born on May 27 ,1955 in Cooperstown a daughter of the late Elba And Freida Graham Jones.
Sandy is lovingly remembered as a devoted wife ,mother and grandmother. For many years she served as an attendant at the voting booths during local elections and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Delanson Volunteer Fire Company
Sandy is survived by her beloved husband Robert G .Flower whom she married on August 7 ,1971 ,their children Robert and his wife Vicki Flower of Altamont, Jeffrey Flower and his companion Connie Rogers of Colonie and Michael and his wife JoAnn Flower of Knox. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and ten siblings .
Family and friends are invited to call at the White VanBuren Funeral Home 1779 Main Street Delanson on Tuesday February 9, 2016 from 6 pm to 8pm. Funeral services and interment will follow in the spring at time to be announced.
Memorial donations maybe made in Sandy’s name to Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital or to the American Breast Cancer.
GRAVESIDE SERVICES FOR SANDY WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY JUNE 25, 2016 AT 3PM AT GROVE CEMETERY QUAKER STREET NY THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO ATTEND.
