Ruth (Day) Salisburg

Duanesburg- Ruth Day Salisburg, 91, of Western Turnpike died peacefully September 24, 2014.
Born in Cambridge, Ruth resided in Duane burg since 1948.  She was a graduate of Salem-Washington Academy in Cambridge. And a graduate of the former Albany Business College . She was employed as a secretary for the Schalmont Schools for 18 years retiring in 1985.  Ruth was a former member of the Duanesburg Volunteer Fire Department Ladies’ Auxiliary.
Her late husband Wendell A. Salisburg died on February 7, 1985. Ruth is survived by one son Vernon Salisburg of Duanesburg one daughter Joy Barnhart of Duanesburg 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
In keeping with Ruth’s wishes all services will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to the Duanesburg Volunteer Fire Department.
