Mildred H (Goodemote) Ash

Delanson- Mildred Ash, 100, born in Canajoharie NY passed away on September 25, 2015 at Loretto Nursing Home Syracuse.
Mildred graduated from Albany Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in 1935 and served as Head Nurse in the Children’s Ward before her marriage to Minard Ash. They lived in Delanson for many years where she raised her 3 children. Mildred and her husband were active members of the Delanson United Methodist Church and traveled widely in their camper on vacations.  Mildred volunteered at the library and was an active member of the Mealsite Scribblers Club, writing poetry and anecdotes.
Mildred is survived by her son Roger Ash from Westland MI, her daughter Judi Brocke of Lafayette NY and their families including 8 grandchildren 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband and her son, Minard.
Family and friends are invited to call at the White VanBuren Funeral Home 1779 Main Street Delanson NY on Friday October 2, 2015 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. immediately following funeral services will begin at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Esperance Cemetery Burtonsville Road Esperance.
