Mark E Moore

Delanson- Mark E. Moore ,69, of McGuire School Road ,passed away suddenly at Ellis Hospital on Saturday April 8 ,2017.
Mark was born in Warwick RI ;a son of the late Edward and Ida Mae Decker Moore.
He grew up in Hannacroix NY and was a high school graduate of Coxsackie- Athens High School.
Mark received a Wildlife Biology Degree from Cornell University and a Civil Engineer Degree from Union College.
Mark was retiree of the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation.
In his free time he greatly enjoyed fishing, golfing, nature , spending time with his family , sitting on the front  porch with his dog and  watching the day go by.
Mark was very proud of his children and loved his grandson to pieces.
He is survived by his beloved wife Linda, daughter Katelynn Moore and her husband Brian Simpson of Castletown NY, his son Christopher Moore and his wife Nikki and  grandson Ethan  of Latham NY, his sister Roxana Moore McCarty and her husband Frank of Hannacroix NY and his brother Edward Moore Jr . of Augusta Ga .
He was predeceased by his step brother Ralph Lowe.
Family and friends are invited to call at the White VanBuren Funeral Home 1779 Main Street Delanson NY on Thursday April 13 ,2017 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Immediately following funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 7 pm. Interment will be private.
In Lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that memorial donations may be made to the Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley 304 Howe’s Cave Road , Howes Cave NY 12092 or to the DVAC Duanesburg Volunteer Ambulance Corp 130 Cole Road Delanson NY 12053.
