Schenectady - Marie R. Birdsall, 97, formerly of Sheridan Village passed away at Baptist Health Center on March 13, 2014 after a brief illness.
She was born in Elmsford  NY  on April 13, 1916 a daughter of the late Nicholas Pandelfo and Rosa Rosario Pandelfo.
Marie was dedicated homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children Paul  (Ida )Miller of Melbourne Florida, Charlotte ( Richard) Canastra of Duanesburg, Elinor “Ellie” McDougall and her companion Don Largeteau  of Duanesburg , Elizabeth McDougall of Schenectady, Cookie ( Skip )Aierle of Hannocroix NY and Stephen Miller of Florida.
She is also survived by her sister Louise Greene of Maine.
Marie leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husbands Louis Miller and Harry Birdsall and her companion Donald Woodman, her son Robert Miller , her daughter in law Aurora Miller and her son in law Lance McDougall and five sisters and one brother.
Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home 1605 Helderberg Ave Rotterdam on Friday March 21, 2014 from 10 am to 12 pm. Immediately  following at 12 pm a funeral service will be held at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery Niskayuna NY. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Staff at the Baptist Health Center for their care and compassion during a difficult time .
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers that donation be sent to the Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region 101 State Street Schenectady NY 12305
