On February 15th, 2026, Mae L. Morrison, age 87, greeted our Heavenly Father with a warm and loving embrace.
Mae grew up in Burtonsville, NY and then Duanesburg during her high school years, and most recently resided in Clifton Park with her daughter. Mae was the daughter of Harold and Louise Bradt of Burtonsville, NY. Mae is predeceased by two brothers, David and James Bradt, and one sister, Catherine Bliven. She is survived by three sisters, Lois Uvegas, Lillian Carson and Charlotte Ferris.
Mae married Chuck Edward Morrison and settled in Duanesburg, NY, where they raised their family. Mae was enthusiastic about sports and thoroughly enjoyed the New York Yankees, keeping stats of the players and known to record many of their games. She also loved watching football and Hallmark movies during the Winter. Above all, Mae enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Mae will be greatly missed by her children, Kevin (Abby) Morrison and Julie (Scott) Cooper. She is predeceased by her son, Paul (Karen) Morrison. Mae also leaves behind six grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Kyle) McLaughlin, Taylor (Kyle) Stevenson, Jessica Morrison, Quinn Morrison, Avery Morrison, and Kayleigh Morrison; and five great-grandchildren whom she adored, Bryson McHargue, Brady and Mallory McLaughlin, and Maverick and Parker Stevenson.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 28th, 2026, from 12 Noon – 2PM, at White-Van Buren Funeral Home, 1779 Main Street, Delanson, NY.
A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 2PM, at the funeral home.
A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in the Spring, in Esperance Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
