John Gorman

John Gorman, 64, of Delanson, NY passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Albany Medical Center with his loving family by his side.

He was born on June 25, 1959 in Queens New York. He and his family relocated to the capital region in 1990.  John was employed as a commercial plumber by Albany Memorial where he worked until retiring. He was united in marriage to Melissa Attanseo on May 28, 2016.

John loved to fish, listen to music, and ponder the universe. He could fix anything and if he didn’t have the right tool he would make it. He was the rock of his family, always calm, supportive, and providing a unique perspective that would make you laugh even in the face of your worst moments.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, story telling, compassion, intelligence, and love.

He was preceded in death by his  parents James Gorman and Ellie Papp Gorman.

John is survived by his wife Melissa "Lis" Gorman, siblings James Gorman (Laura) Kelly Lavazoli ( Rudy) Steve Gorman, Karin Garcia (Steve) children John Spulka, Kristen Gilliland (Randy) Casey Gorman (Gregg) Amber Gorman and Haley Regan three grand children Peyton Salisbury, Dallas Regan, Leland Regan and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with John's wishes there will be no formal services.
