Delanson - John Robert Barton, 74, of Delanson New York, passed away on Monday May 8th , 2017
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday May 12 , 2017 at the Gallupville Evangelical Lutheran Church, Gallupville NY. Reverend Peter J. DeBartolo will officiate. Calling hours will be held between 10 am to 11 am Friday May 12 ,2017 at the church before the service.
John retired from IBM after working as a chief engineer for 25 years. John enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and spending time riding Harleys. John was also actively involved in the Gallupville Evangelical Lutheran Church.
John is survived by his sister Barbara Allen, sons Joel Robert Barton, Nathan John Barton, Jason Glenn Barton, Grandchildren John Robert Barton and Jillian Victoria Barton. John is also being celebrated by the large extended family that during his life were blessed to have learned from his accumulated wisdom.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Jason Barton at 5419 Piper Lane Oakley Ca. 94561. The family of John Robert Barton wishes to thank the Gallupville Evangelical Lutheran Church.
