James Nicholson Duffy, Jr.

N. GREENBUSH - James Nicholson Duffy, Jr., passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday April 18, 2025. He was born in Hollis, NY on October 28, 1957 to Lorraine Mathiez Duffy and the late James Nicholson Duffy, Sr. He was raised in Delanson, after he graduated from high school, he attended SCCC. James worked for many years for Verizon until his retirement. He enjoyed playing piano and loved holidays and birthdays where he got to spend time with family, and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

James is survived by his mother, Lorraine Duffy; his daughter, Jessica (Justin) Cartwright; his grandchildren, Duffy and Camden Cartwright; his brothers, Evan, Christopher, and William Duffy; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

James has been privately cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
