Florence "Mickie" (Westerhoff) Klopman

Esperance – Mrs. Florence “Mickie” Klopman, nee’ Westerhoff, 91, of Esperance, NY, passed away peacefully at home (following a brief illness) on the evening of February 28, 2019.

Born July 11, 1927 in Paterson, NJ, she married her loving husband Lambert in December 1948, and moved to her dream farm in 1969.

Mickie enjoyed farming and gardening, reading and writing, sewing and quilting, and worshipping with her church family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a true friend.

She is survived by her four children Kenneth L. Klopman of Alaska; Steven D. Klopman (Deborah) of Esperance; Linda Klopman Whitley (Barry) of Lexington, KY; Laura Klopman Soulier (Bill) of Catskill; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; and two brothers.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, and her sister.

Funeral services will be at Faith Bible Church, 106 Crosby Rd., Sprakers, NY 12166 which will include a time for reflection and viewing from 10-11 am with a service immediately following at 11 am.

Interment will be at Grove Cemetery, Quaker Street, NY in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Faith Bible Church Academy in Mickie’s name.
