Elinor G. (Tryon) Beveridge

July 25, 1919 — July 29, 2017

Delanson- Elinor G. (Tryon) Beveridge, died at Capital Living Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Schenectady  NY ,  on July 29, 2017 surrounded by her  loving family.
Elinor was born in Niskayuna NY on July 25, 1919, the daughter of the late Margaret O’Brien and Roscoe Tryon.
Ellie was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School and worked at General Electric before her marriage. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in  Delanson NY . Ellie was  very religious and her faith remained strong throughout her life.
Ellie will be remembered for her charitability, her compassion for others and her  deep commitment to her family. Ellie enjoyed camping and travels throughout the country. In later years, her love of cooking was her passion. Her pies, pickles and peanut brittle were always a hit with family and friends.

Ellie is survived by her five children : Bernard (Melodie) Beveridge of  Marstons Mills MA, Jayne (Mark) Hanson of  Pattersonville NY, Mary Ellen (Dana) Welch of  Altamont NY, Carol (George) Koch of  Torrington CT, and Brenda (Scott) Rowley of  Duanesburg NY. She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 67 years Earl, a  daughter Kathleen and all of her eleven siblings.
She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren ; Kathleen (William) Schofield, Christopher (Melanie) Beveridge, Keith Hanson, Todd (Anna) Hanson, Sarah (Terry) Hubbard, Randy (Amanda) Welch, Kathryn Welch, Benjamin Welch, Lindsay (Bryon) Robb, Leighanne (Tim) Bosshardt, Kenny Koch, Stephen (Jonna) Rowley, Brook Rowley, and Curtis Rowley .
Ellie is survived by nine great grandchildren Olivia and Jacob Schofield, Abigail Beveridge, Alana, Ashton and Peyton Hanson, Emmett, Brigg and Dalton Hubbard and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call at the White VanBuren Funeral Home 1779 Main Street Delanson on Friday August 4, 2017 from 10 am to 11: 30 am. Immediately following a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon at Our Lady of Fatima Church Delanson. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery Niskayuna.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Food Pantry 1735 Alexander Road P.O. Box 219 Delanson NY 12053
