Delanson- Debra "Debbie" Hebert 64 passed away unexpectedly on October 7 , 2015.
Debbie was devoted wife,daughter mother,grandmother and foster mother. There was nothing more important in her life than her family.
She graduated from Shaker High School in 1969. She met her beloved husband,Claude, at Albany Business College and they were later married on August 19, 1972.
They honeymooned on a cross country motor cycle trip. She traveled three more times with her loved ones and enjoyed spending time on the Cape Cod Beach in the fall. Debbie was an accomplished domestic engineer. She owned and operated a daycare with her mother, was a longtime teaching assistant at BOCES working with students with special needs, and a religion education teacher at Our Lady Fatima in Delanson for many years.
Debbie is survived by her husband , Claude, her children, Elijah of Boston, Thea of Schnectady, Crystal of Amsterdam, Sasha of Boston and Janaye of Delanson her mother Priscilla Wohlfield and grandchildren Tieler(10) Troy(8) Brytnee(7) Calli (6) and Kaden (2) She was predeceased by her father Robert Smith.
Family and freinds are invited to call at the White VanBuren Funeral Home 1779 Main Street on Monday Evening October 12 2015 from 4 pm to 8pm. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home at 7 pm. Interment will be private.
In Lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the St Jude Children's Research Hospital
