Charles E. Morrison Oneonta - On August 21, 2026

Charles "Charlie" E. Morrison, age 82, greeted our heavenly Father with a warm and loving embrace. Charlie grew up in Rotterdam, NY, in his high school years, and then Duanesburg, and most recently, in Oneonta. Charlie was the son of Stephen and Evelene Morrison of Rotterdam, NY. Charlie had four brothers: predeceased by Bernard (Ester) and Sonny, survived by Steve and Walt, and one sister, Arlene (James) Seabas.

Charlie married Mae L. Morrison and settled in Duanesburg, NY where they raised their family. Charlie was enthusiastic about hunting, fishing, bowling, and outdoor activities.

Charlie will be missed by his children; his sons: predeceased by Paul (Karen) and survived by Kevin (Abby) Morrison, and his daughter, Julie (Scott) Cooper. Charlie also leaves behind six grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Kyle) McLaughlin, Taylor (Kyle) Stevenson, Jessica Morrision, Quinn Morrison, Avery Morrison, and Kayleigh Morrison. He also had six great-grandchildren, Bryson McHargue, Brady and Mallory McLaughlin, Maverick, Parker, and Donovan Stevenson.

Family and friends are invited to call at White-Van Buren Funeral Home, located at 1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam NY 12306, on September 12, 2026, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM.

A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM, at the funeral home.
