Delanson- Avery L. Wilson, 76, a longtime resident of Delanson NY, passed away on Tuesday March 25 2014. He was born in Gilboa NY on May 21, 1937. He was the beloved son of the late Avery L. and Grace Moore Wilson. He was a graduate of Duanesburg Central School and was a licensed electrician and also a farmer. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed playing basketball, baseball and his guitar.
Avery was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church Delanson.
He is survived by his sister Sherry Lacy of Delanson, and two brothers Christopher Wilson of Stroudsburg PA and Jerry Wilson of Rotterdam and several nieces and nephews.
Avery was predeceased by his parents and by his brother Bernard Wilson and two sisters Katherine Coppolo of Delanson and Jean Gathen of Schoharie.
Family and friends are invited to call at the White VanBuren Funeral Home 1779 Main Street Delanson on Saturday March 29, 2014 from am to am. Immediately following a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am at Our Lady of Fatima Alexander Road Delanson. Interment will be in the spring.
Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Mental Health Association 194 Washington Ave Suite 415 Albany NY 12210
