Anna Louise (Abele) Rack

Halfmoon – It is with deep sadness that we announce Anna’s passing on May 13, 2021 at the age of 99. Anna was born February 7, 1922 in Johlingen, Germany to Ferdinand and Marie Abele.

She was a great and loving mother, a beloved grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Despite facing many challenges in her life, she left behind a legacy of love and was of great inspiration to her family. Her life was filled with joy, love and happiness. She was the best mom one could ever ask for. Anna will be missed by everyone who knew her and were honored to be part of her life. She will live on forever in our memories. She will fly high forever with the angels, safe and whole once again.

Anna is preceded in death by her husband Emil. She is survived by her four loving children; John (Karen), Dolores, Ronald (Cathy) and Robert (Regina) as well as 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Helen Lorenz (Ohio) and her family, and her cousin Louise Sylvester (New Jersey) and her family.

The family extends their special thanks to the staff at Baptist for their care of mom and to Don Bailey as he was good to mom.

Funeral services will be private.
