Alton Harvey Durfee Jr.

October 2, 1937 — December 23, 2025

Delanson

Alton Harvey Durfee Jr., October 2, 1937 to December 23, 2025. With sadness, Alton entered into the eternal light on Tuesday December 23, 2025 surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Suzanne Durfee, son Darrell Durfee (Rhonda), step-sons David Durrant (Melissa) and Dennis Durrant, grandsons Dennis and Preston Durrant, a cousin Dwight Sickler (Kathy) and nieces and nephews.

After serving in the Navy during the Korean War, he came home and started his own excavation business of 30 years, Al Durfee Excavation. During his free time, he enjoyed family and friends, anything to do with motors and things that went fast, boating, especially on Sacandaga Lake, snowmobiling, camping, and his classic car building and racing. Al will be missed by many.
